New Years Resolution update
Well that was quick. The first of my New Years resolutions can be scratched off the list. The new podcast that I said I would start this year is up and the first episode is out. if you are playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and want to hear a podcast about that game then head to www.jawacaravan.com and check it out.
Second Podcast started
My brother and I started a second Podcast today centered around Star Wars: The Old Republic. We recorded two shows back to back and for two hours of talking it went pretty well. Looking forward to the official launch Tuesday.
New Years
So for some reason we are compelled to come up with new years resolutions. The problem with these resolutions is that we have to make an event to try to keep them. This essentially ensures that no one will. I think this year I will try to come up with resolutions that I can actually accomplish. None of this cliche “I will lose weight” bullshit. My resolutions are as follows:
I will...

More about writing
It can be pretty hard to get the motivation to write when 1) you write for a living in a non creative capacity and 2) you haven’t shown too many people your work so you can’t tell if it’s any good or not. Nevertheless I have somehow got it in my head that I will finally pursue my dream of becoming a writer. In today’s world an author doesn’t need to publish through...
Desert drive
Traveling through the desert is always mind numbing enough to make anyone lose a little sanity. The drive from Bakersfield to Vegas was no exception. That drive is not what one expects when they think of deserts. There are no dunes, there are no pyramids, there are no camels, just wide expanse of boredom.

Lent
Being a recovering catholic (raised catholic for 17 years before reaching the age of independent thought) for as long as I have, I have mostly forgotten about the abomination of lent. Somewhere through the development and evolution (ironic no?) of Christianity it was decided that the people who worship and follow a man made concept must also give up something in order to experience suffering. This...
It has happened
Just like that I have started working on my novel again. It wasn’t spectacular and it resulted in about 5 words but is’t a start. I am now in chapter two and I have to seriously ponder a few things. I plan to push through and finish this come hell or high water. I just have to fit it in with my 9-5 job and my android blog.

Blog
So I have been working tirelessly on a new blog centered around android. You can check it out at www.androidfoc.us if you want to see what I am referring to. My question or dilemma is whether I should syndicate the content here or start a new tumblr for the site. I certainly don’t want to piss off the people following me here but I also want to share what I write and what I am working on.....

I just wanted to take a moment to announce my new Android News blog. I dig through all the news available and provide the information that will interest most android users. Year in review
I am actually pretty excited that the editing is officially done on the year in review episode for my little internet radio show. It will be posted Friday but it was pretty fun to listen to it and see how things have gone in the past 30 episodes. It’s also pretty crazy that we have done 30 episodes and it is even crazier that we have people who regularly listen to the show.

Internet Radio
Trying to learn how to create an internet radio show when you have no experience is a process, to say the least. Our little show has improved in quality tremendously from episode 1, 26 weeks ago and we get more and more comfortable doing it. We gain listeners week by week but trying to figure out how to get more listeners and get more exposure is the part I struggle with.
There aren’t...
This Last netcast
Everything that could have gone wrong while recording our last internet radio show did go wrong. We started recording late because my brother had mic problems. Once he got that set we got underway and we all got disconnected in about 15 minutes… then i found out none of the show recorded.
So we had to start again but one of the hosts had to go because we burned up all his time. We were...

This is true
I have had several “blogs” that I kinda maintain because I enjoy writing. All of these blogs have become stagnant because I worry that people who read them will think they are too e/n. I also worry that when I write something that I want people to read that no one is, in fact, reading it.

Quran burning - what will they think of next?
So apparently some people down south are perpetuating the stereotype that southerners are intolerant of other people. Way to go! This is another shining example of why I couldn’t go back to being religious. Our country prides itself on freedom and one of those points of pride is freedom of religion. While it is great to have something like that on paper, there will always be the issue of...
